WEEKLY HANDS-ON SCIENCE & ENGINEERING

STEM after-school clubs

Make it. Test it. Change it. Try again.

Weekly practical STEM for KS1 and KS2, delivered on school premises. Children explore reactions, make circuits, build models and test their own ideas, with the science explained along the way.

A new investigation each week, planned around your pupils.

How a school club works

Weekly sessions on your school site

Usually 60 minutes, across an agreed block of weeks. Dates and session times are arranged with the school.

£7 per child, per session

New blocks from January 2027. A six-session block is £42.

Activities and materials

Planned for KS1 or KS2, with the agreed resources included. Children do not need previous club experience.

Typically 12 - 20 children

Capacity and minimum enrolment are agreed before bookings open, considering age, activities, space and adult support.

Straightforward arrangements for the school

I plan the activities, bring the resources and lead the sessions. Before launch, we agree:

  • Year groups, places, room, dates and session times.
  • Parent booking online or school-managed places and payment.
  • Registration, supervision, medical support, first-aid cover and authorised collection.

A designated member of school staff must be available on site. Additional support is agreed in advance. For parent-paid clubs, I can provide a booking link and information for families. School-funded or subsidised clubs can also be discussed.

Information for parents

How do I book a place?

Your school will share the booking link or explain how it manages places. Check the year groups, dates, times and full price for your school before booking. If you have not received details, ask the school office.

Will my child bring something home?

Some projects can be taken home; other sessions focus on investigations or shared equipment. Where an item goes home, relevant use and supervision guidance is provided.

What happens at collection?

Collection arrangements are agreed with each school and included in the club information. Please follow that school’s instructions and tell the appropriate contact in advance if an authorised collector changes.

For a question about the activities or an existing booking, email contact@stemgoeswild.co.uk.

Please discuss access, medical, allergy or sensory needs securely before booking, so suitable activities and adjustments can be agreed.
