FAQ - Science Birthday Parties
Everything you need to know before booking STEM goes Wild wow-filled science party
What age are your parties suitable for?
Most parties are perfect for ages 5 to 12, but we can tailor activities for slightly older or younger children too. I’ve even done teen science parties and family events - just let us know what you're looking for!How long is the party?
The main activities run for 90 minutes. We usually arrive 30 minutes before to set up and need about 30 minutes after to pack away. We can extend activities to fit a 2-hour party. Just let us know your plan!How many children can attend?
The standard price covers up to 15 children. You can absolutely invite more - it's £12 per extra child. Please let me know if you're expecting more than 20 so we can bring an assistant.Do you travel to my area?
We’re based in Bedworth, but we travel all over Warwickshire, West Midlands, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Birmingham and beyond. There’s a £20-30 travel fee for venues outside my core area (like Kenilworth, Rugby or Leamington). Just ask if you're unsure.What’s included in the price?
We bring absolutely everything needed to turn your space into a buzzing mini-lab:- All materials and equipment for 3-4 hands-on science activities
- Protective gear: child-sized lab coats, gloves, and goggles (as needed).
- Table covers to keep your surfaces safe - just let us know if your tables are round or rectangular!
- Take-home creations for every child - they’ll leave with their own science souvenirs.
- Full set-up and clean-up - no mess left behind, guaranteed.
- No hidden costs other than the stated travel fee.
Where can we host the party?
We come to your home, a hired venue, or Mayor’s Café in Bedworth (which we partner with - food included, big playground, free parking!). I'm happy to suggest venues if needed.What themes do you offer?

Can you accommodate allergies or neurodiverse children?
Absolutely. We work with a lot of neurodiverse children and home-educated families, and we adapt activities as needed. Let us know about any allergies or sensitivities in advance, and I’ll make sure everyone can take part safely.What do we need to provide?
Not much! Just:- Tables (enough to fit all children)
- Access to a sink
- Floor space if needed for messy activities For home parties, hard floors are ideal - I’ll bring covers, but let us know if it's carpeted.
- Outdoor space is a bonus!
Can we have the party outdoors?
Yes - weather permitting! I’ll bring some exciting outdoor activities like rockets or air cannon challenges if space allows.Can we combine themes?
Yes! Want slime + bath bombs? Or Minecraft + potions? No problem - I’ll help you design the perfect mix.Do you offer party bags?
Not traditional ones, but the kids take home everything they make, which is often more exciting!Do you hold a DBS and insurance?
